An Example Civil Partnership Ceremony and Reception Package

Our Ceremony package provides for the exclusive use of our facilities, including all public rooms for your Ceremony Day. This list is a typical Civil Partnership Ceremony and Reception Package that may suit your vision that your 'Special Day'.

• All agreed facilities & exclusive use of public rooms within the times agreed
• Use of Car Park - We have a small Private Car Parkand we can accommodate up to 4 cars for your use. (Conditions apply)
• Champagne Reception after the Ceremony with Canapés or "Pimms" Cocktail’s if you prefer, served in the Drawing Room or on The Terrace (weather permitting)
• Lunch or Dinner (Sample Menus) could consist of Four Courses for You & Your Guests, please make your selection from the attached Menu’s. We use Cornucopia “Wedgwood” fine bone china or pure White China if you prefer
• Wines for your meal will be supplied please make your choice from our Wine List or you may wish to supply your own wines or drink from whatever source you wish, the Shun Leee does not charge corkage
• Champagne for the Toast will be supplied
• Tea or Coffee will be served after the meal at the table
• Cake Stand & knife will be provided
• Linen Table Clothes & Napkins are used
• Our Ceremony package provides for the exclusive use of our facilities, including all public rooms. Note that our standard terms & conditions apply, including a totally non-smoking environment.

A suggested Timetable for 'The Day of the Ceremony'

• 2.00 pm Guests Arrive
• 2.30 pm Ceremony
• 3.00 pm Champagne Reception on Balcony (weather permitting)
• 4.30 pm Dinner is Served
• 6.30 pm After Dinner Speeches with Champagne served for the Toast
• 7.00pm The Cake is Cut & served with Tea or Coffee at the table
• 8.00pm The Dining Table is cleared allowing your Guests to mingle & Socialize.
  Extra Drinks can be supplied if requested.
• 10.30pm The Bar Closes & The Guests Depart.

Additional items and Extras

• Accommodation may be booked for the night before the Ceremony & after. There are two large luxurious bedrooms available, both with en-suite bathrooms. “The Raffles Suite”, our master bedroom, has a 5’ solid wood Bed & double aspect views over The Harbour & St. Ives Bay. Please enquire about our tariff which would include a generous Ceremony discount
• Guests will be able to order drinks (other to those offered) & the costs can be charged to your account, or their account
• Flowers can be provided by a local florist in St. Ives. They would be contracted directly to supply & arrange all the flowers required. May we suggest our Specialist: David Brown 01736 752705.

• Music for Ceremony & Background is required at the beginning of, during & after the Ceremony, together with music required to be played during the Lunch or Dinner, can be played on our CD Sound Systems. Your own CD’s & running order would need to be provided, although a composite CD containing the pre-recorded tracks required is preferred. Your own favourites would be preferable, as some music can have memorable & sentimental attachments.
• Table Decorations for the table, including name cards, please let us have these before the function. Lighted Candles are unable to be used.
